ANTI-ESTROGENS
IS IT WISE TO USE A-DEX OR NOLVA THROUGHOUT A CYCLE OR SHOULD ONE KEEP IT ON HAND JUST IN CASE YOU NOTICE THE FIRST SIGNS OF GYNO? THANKS....OH, ONE MORE THING, I HAVE HEARD THAT USING AN ANTI ESTROGEN A FEW WEEKS PRIOR TO A SHOW IS ADVISABLE TO PREVENT H2O RETENTION...WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS? THANKS!!!!

Always monitor your ESTRADIOL levels, should be in the optimal range of 10-30pg/ml, the best course of action to take to block those sucker punch side effects. I always take ARIMIDEX during my cycles of .5 2-3xs/wk this for sure prevents gyno, keeps test osterone up, and promotes hardness.

letrozole is a better choice to control estrogen ...and it raises igf levels too.
Letrozol is femera, which is an anti-estrogen. Femara is 10-30x more effective than Arimidex in it's ability to pass thru the cell membrane of lipid (fat) cells and inhibit the activity of aromatase -- in other words, Femara is far superior in lowering estrogen levels in fat cells. This has two benefits for BBs; (1) Estrogen 'attracts' water, so less water retention (2) an average male BB is around 10%BF, that's a lot of lipid cells with aromatase inside them, so a substantial percentage of aromatase is left untouched by Arimidex due to it's poor ability to enter lipid cellsArimidex is approximately 80% effective at inhibiting aromatase, Femara is around 95-97% notes: 1. Always take an anti-estrogen throughout your cycle it's not worth the risk of not doing it. Arimidex is a good one and someone mentioned Femara, personally I haven't had the chance to try it yet but I've heard good things about it as well. As far as the Nolvadex goes always keep it on hand but don't run it through your cycle Nolvadex can hinder your gains. If you want to run something through your cycle that will help eliminate the water and increase hardness but not effect growth then use Proviron. Very underrated drug but very usefull for maintaining hardness, vascularity and removing bloat. Combined with Arimidex you can't go wrong.
As far as using prior to a show, Proviron again is an excellent choice. You can use Arimidex to. But I would stick with Proviron and a diuretic and probably some Halo. |

I have used Adex on past cycles, but had problems with side effects - fatigue, low sex drive. It sucks to be on 1000mg of test and still have no sex drive! Plus, I still had to throw Novaldex in every so often b/c of signs of gyno. I tried Liquid Letrozole this time around and have been really pleased. I take .25cc eod, and have had no problems with gyno (which I am very prone to) and haven't had any water retention. Plus it didnt interfere with my sex drive, thank God. I have also heard good things about Aromasin.

Anastrozole and letrozole are aromatase (converts test into estrogen), not anti-estrogens. .5 mg eod is OK, most take it throughout the cycle. It is used in long term treatment (months, years) for breast cancer with no major side effects
