Injecting in Calves

Is it a bad idea to inject propionate/winny into my calves? My shoulders and triceps are maxed out and I wouldn't want more local growth there but am somewhat sceptical about injecting in calves.. Never done buttocks injections as I hear it leaves needle marks and I wouldn't want that.

doesn't bother me at all. not sure on the winny. but I inject 2.25 cc into a calf once a week with no problems. I would rec that you go deep in though so use a 23 or 25g 1.5 inch unless your calves are small.

Man, as a nurse I cringe when I hear that people inject into various body parts. I have never injected any medicine into anything other than hips! Just inject 2 to 3 fingers below the waistline midway from your crack and your hip. I am running 3 ccs a day with test prop and don't have any problems with needle marks in my hip! Just use a new syringe and needle every time; I heard someone was using his 2 or 3 times each! That's crazy!! And make sure you spend as less time as possible with the needle in the muscle. Never use less than 22 gage needle. I think it would be impossible to push oil through a 25 gage needle!

i use 25g all the time with thick oil bro, no problem there??
23g is what everyone suggest.
I hit calf all the time bro no sweat there. just go in 1'' not 1 and 1/2'' you will be fine!

i never had any problems with calf injection either, i use 25g 1" pins

i haven't heard of this before... am curious why 'cause i like to shoot nice and slow. by slow i mean i can take up to 30-45 seconds sometimes for 3cc's. is that too much time?

I think maybe it is just less trauma to the muscle but I still take my time to inject the oil otherwise it hurts like a motherfucker. LOL

I do bodyparts like pecs, tris and quads at the same time.. I split the shot between the two..

Never did calves, with my luck I'd be hobbling around shortly after..

Ouch... there are soooo many injection sites I would resort to before I would even consider calf inects....

had that happen. but not if I used a 1.5 and hit the calf from the side or the back and to the top.

Lats I have yet to try, due to the fact that every 2 guys who say it's a good spot there are another 40 who say it hurts like a mutha!

I do the same as this except I use triceps instead of chest.

Bi injects aren't that bad and it does give you an extra site - you could also do some trap injects, they aren't very painful.

Aw, traps suck!

I used a 23 1" on my traps once, hit nerves no matter what.. Left trap bled abit once the pin came out.. I'd rather dart my eyelids.. :p

pecs injections.. god damn, that's gotta hurt do you have a special spot, or just inject all over pecs? how does it feel compared to quad injection?

So general oppinion about injecting calves seems to be "try and find out" we'll see.

Atm, triceps is my favourite spot, and I don't want to do quads no more, as they would soon be out of proportions. First couple of times propionate caused my triceps to get swollen and red. I think I even got a mild feever. But now I got used to it so it goes smooth. God knows what such injections would do to my calves

pec injections arent bad at all as long as you have some meat there. check this out www.spot injections.com

i usually stay 1.5-2 inches above the nipple so dead center with a few inches either way to work with. 1.5 inch
