This area of pain divides a champion from someone who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens. I have no fear of fainting. I do squats until I fall over and pass out. So what? It's not going to kill me. I wake up five minutes later and I'm OK. A lot of other athletes are afraid of this. So they don't pass out. They don't go on."

be more worried about nerves in the thigh. make sure you do it on the top third on the side of your thigh. I have found the least amount of nerves there. as you get lower towards your knee I believe the concentration is higher.

place your thumb on your hip bone and stretch your pinky all the way down. that should be the area where you poke. don't forget to aspirate and push it in slowly.

yeah it really doesn't happen that often. Out of the thousands of shots I have done over the years. I have drawn blood once when aspirating.
