Hello all,I had my labs done as I do every six months.Im on 200mg test-c/wk for hrt.I do cycle on and off 3 times a year for 8-10 weeks at 600mg test-c and 400mg deca-d.Im 44 male 5'8" 178 lbs 8% bf and been bodybuilding for over 20 years. Here are my results:
Blood Count: wbc 16.3 (high) rbc 5.50 hgb 16.6 hct 48.8 plt 286 neutrophils abs 9.1 (high) lymphocytes abs 5.8 (high) monocytes 1.2 (high) note:all other blood count are in normal range. PSA 0.5 ng/ml Estradiol 20 Testostrone 988 ng/dl TSH 3.50 ulU/ml Lipid Panel: Cholesterol total 92 HDL 19 (VERY LOW) Chol ratio 4.8 LDL Calc 52 Trigycerides 103 Liver Panel: Alkaline Phos 56 ALT 44 (high) AST 39 Bilirubin total 0.3 (low) Bill Direct 0.1 Total Protein 8.0 Albumin 4.1 Question is why is my HDL so low and my total chol is only 92 and does this put me at risk for heart problems. Is this from taking to much Testostrone. My lipid panels in the past off cycle were HDL 42 Total 105.Also look at my CBC White Count and Lymphocytes Abs/Neutrophils Abs is very high as well.Does that mean I have an infection because I feel fine and no fever or anything.Thank you all for your help with this... |

If I'm not mistaken HDL is the good cholesterol. For two years now mine has read either 17 or 18. Which is low like yours. I currently need to get it checked again. However, my doc said it isn't a major problem right now because I'm fairly young, and its probably the AS that is shutting down my good cholestrol. Eat a lot of nuts and good fats and do some cardio.
