Canseco to Talk Steroids on Letterman
Now that the steroid era in baseball is no longer being denied in the same manner as how wrestlers wouldn't owe up to the staged theatrics of wrestling in the '70s and '80s, some of its biggest stars, past and present, are continuing to speak out on the reality of steroids in baseball. On Monday, March 31, former juiced up slugger Jose Canseco will be taking a seat next to David Letterman on the Late Show on the eve of his upcoming book release "Vindicated".
Looking back now, it's funny to think how Canseco, one-half of the former "Bash Brothers" with Mark McGwire during their Oakland A's days, took such a beating from both Major League Baseball and the Players Association after he came clean on the alleged rampant use of steroids in baseball. Now that several of today's most prolific baseball stars have been called in front of Congress, Jose Canseco is looking more like a pioneer of the movement to rid the game of performance enhancing drugs. Still, as we all know, honesty has become a lucrative big business. According to the official CBS press release, "Canseco will appear on the LATE SHOW to promote his new book, Vindicated, which will be published on the following day, Tuesday, April 1. Vindicated is a follow-up to his best-selling tell-all book, Juiced, in which he revealed that he took steroids during his baseball career and alleged that many other notable Major League Baseball players also took them - claims that rocked the baseball world." How will Canseco fair against Letterman, one of TV's most rabid baseball fans? Well, it just might make for one of the best segments of "Stupid Human Tricks" we've ever seen. |

I hope this appears on youtube, I can't imagine Letterman taking the moral high ground, to do so after so much more has come out since Jose's confessions would look lame
