Been on the Jintropin now a little over a month and Im just starting to notice the tips of my fingers feel like pinz and needles. How bad does it get? Is there anything that relieves this besides lower dose?

i stoped taking it on tuesday. i'm going to wait for the carpal tunel to go away, then resume at a lower dose. trust me bro - it gets VERY bad. it did for me anyway. i've been on about 6 weeks i guess and it's so bad it keeps me up all night. at night, by hands go so 'numb' the it feels like the bones in my 2 middle fingers all the way to my elbows are being crushed. it's excruciating and it wakes me up about 10-15 times a night. i have to sit up, put my legs off the bed and dangle my arms to the ground for about 2-3 minutes. then it goes away and i can sleep for another 15-30 min, then it's time to do it again.

when i lift, my right hand goes completely numd everytime i grab the weight. i won't bench without straps cause i'm terrified i'm gonna drop the weight on my face. the fingers on my right hand are numb all the time now, no matter what i'm doing. it sux bro. what sux even more, is that you have to come totally off of it and wait for the carpal water retention to go away, then resume.

extreme water retention in the ligaments of the wrist. the tendons and ligament become inflamed, pinching the nerves that reach to the fingers and thumb.

just to add - my fingers are so swollen i can't get my wedding ring off without lube, lol.

bouncer - if you look at the palm of your hand it's nice and pink. make a fist, hold it for three seconds then immediately look at the palm of your hand again. it will probably be white.

i was at 3, then went up to 4. i was at 4 iu for about 3 weeks, that's when it got really bad. but as doom said - it started at 3 iu, about 2.5-3 weeks in, just not as bad. a little nubness here and there and my hands would be numb for about 15 min after waking.

i have been on for a for about five days. still no numbness at 4 ius a day. i have been tired as all hell alot though.

i was hoping i wouldnt get hit with the sides since i was taking domnestic seros at 6 ius from april till last week of august. so techinically i have been off for 3 weeks, i guess it was too long

when the numbness hit with the seros, i had to massage my palms to be able to do any sort of a pressing motion. the pins and annoying numbness did go away after 2 months.

it's worth it bro. my buddy has a friend that has been on for quite a while. he eats a pint of ben and jerrys ice cream for breakfast every morning and is still losing body fat. i think GH is the secret that all the pros use to bulk but still manage to stay lean for guest posing.

FYI, I did 2 iu's a day for seven months, 2-3 weeks in got the carpel, yet it only lasted two weeks and went away. Only bad side for me was about 2-3 months in the tiredness set in, which is ultimately the reason I got off, being tired for months is not fun, it affected my quality of life, thus the trade off for me was not worth it.

I got blood work done the whole time, at 2 iu, my ifg-1 went from 170 to a high of 305 and leveled off at 280, so it did it's magic.

Another note, at 2 iu I had no fat reduction, only muscle gain.

Just an FYI, when I first started using GH at reasonably high doses (6IU/day), I noticed carpal tunnel syndrome developing, esp. in my right hand (I'm right handed). I ignored the early signs and just kept on going (not the brightest move I know). Well the symptoms got pretty fucking bad, and were exactly like goliath described. I woke up several times a night with my hand asleep and shooting pains from my hand up into my forearm. I put up with it until I was done with my cycle (I had plans to go longer and continue even off AAS). Well gents, even when I got off the inflammation of the tendons in my wrist and hand didn't get much better. 2 Months later I still had pains, and I finally went to see an orthapedic surgeon. He did an EMG test and concluded that I have SEVERE carpal tunnel, esp in my right hand. He also concluded that the only solution was surgery given the severity. The inflammation just wouldn't go down, partly because I use my hands a lot a work. So I got the surgery, they split my palm open, cut the tendons that were putting pressure on the nerves, sewed them up with a gap, and closed me up. It took about 2 months to recover, but today, my right hand is pain free and using GH since has not been an issue.

Just a word of warning, or maybe I'm just unlucky since most people seem to recover once off of GH.

I have zero experience w/HGH, but I do know that it is not uncommon for an individual to have to get surgery to relieve symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. Both my mother and my sister have had surgery for it.

Just as a note, my carpel at 2 iu's was nothing compared too what goliath and dr had. Mine was just a general tightness during certain activities, sitting writing, typing, if I stopped it would go away, didn't hamper lifting at all.

Great idea! Before I made the work to school transition, I went to the dr and got everything checked I could possibly think of. Shit, I also went to the dermatologist, dentist and chiropractor, just to take advantage of the benefits that I would no longer have.

Goliath - ask for an EMG test (Electromyogram). They run electrical impulses down your arm and connect sensors to your fingers to see if the impulses are getting through, and measure to what degree. That is how they gauged my severity - they can tell you based on the EMG results. Before that, my primary doctor just said take some Advil, etc... what bullshit. Didn't do a damn thing for me.

Get the EMG, and good luck.

just out of curiousity. my goal of running the gh is to combine it with insulin and heavy gear to gain as much mass as possible, I'm starting at 2iu per day, is that enough gh to help with this goal or do I want to raise it up fairly quick to at least 3iu per day

that's how it starts bro. if you stay at 5iu, it will most likely get 10x worse within the next 2-3 weeks.

lol - b-lean tried that and it didn't work. his right hand was completely numb all the time and he had lowered his dose to 1iu a day. he came off it completely and has been off for 5 days. it's just now starting to go away. i don't think it will improve until you come off completely, then let it go away. after it's gone, resume at a lower dose.

...that's what i'm doing and that's what ALL of the literature i've come across suggests.

bouncer, i was running it at 4 ius and now have dropped it to 3 ius everyday

it took a little over a month to hit me but its real bad now.

just sitting here typing my hands get a warm to hot feeling in them and go numb, pins and needles feeling, also it wakes me up a few times a night

i need to shake my hands to get the feeling back in them

i wear wraps now doing pullups, bent over rows, etc, etc because the hands go numb or hurt like a fuck.

but to me it tells me something is working so i will live with it , gotta fucking love it bro ,lol

The one thing to remember is that the CTS always resolves after the GH is discontinued. It's painful but if you can deal with it just suck it up.

Hey my results were great on 6iu/day!!! Only my hand went numb - but my abs were rippin' and my guns were pumped!!!

Interestingly I never got anything on 3-4iu/day, no sides and no noticeable change in body composition. Its like I went from nothing to everything (sides and all) when I doubled my dose (that's how I experimented with GH).

sorry for bringing up this old thread again. It's been 8 months since it was last updated and I'm facing the same problems here. What was all your guys experience with GH and Carpal Tunel Sindrome since 8 months ago?
