Exclamation My script test on back order???
So I usually go to Kroger or Walgreens for my script, more so Kroger...Just got a call from them saying all manufacturers are on a 1 month back order

Weird....

There are a lot of drugs on manufactuere back order right now. Some I deal with at work are these different enzyme drugs (cerezyme, fabrazyme...) A generic for Flolan, and there is another one that a sister company provides but I can't remember the name.

YES they are...As a matter of fact I just got back from Kroger/Meijer/Walgreens and they all use same supplier...Watson was the 1st one they mentioned....Backed up until mid July....

In the big picture it's just a lot of coincidence, but I'm sure a lot of it comes down to company's tightening up on regulations. Genzyme found a virus in a batch of their drug that stopped production for a while. Generic Flolan (epoprostenol sodium) was partly about a patent and the market changing.

I got some more info today. In 2007 the FDA passed an act called Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy.
