Post cycle therapy working ?
How long after PCT should I wait to see if my natural Test levels are up to snuff ?
I did HCG and Novaldex for my post cycle and my levels still "Feel" low. (Not motivated, lower than normal sex drive & I put on a few pounds around the middle) I am starting to wonder if I have supressed my natural test to the point that It may not ever kick in to "normal " levels, I am just about 40 years old. I have done 4 cycles in the past 2 1/2 years and none have been over a gram of gear per week total. any thoughts ?

how has your PCT looked thus far..... its the only way i can help with any possible answers to your problems... how far into PCT are you?

I finished yesterday. I did Novadex 120mg day 1
80 day 2-11 40 day 12-20 My last cycle was 12 weeks of 400mg Test Cyp and 400mg EQ I have had shut down problems with Deca, so that is why I went with EQ. I followed the "time on-time-off" rule

mabey nolvadex isnt your style... I would reccomend trying clomid with Nolva.... neither alone really cuts it for me either... Also. I do heavy HCG treatment up until My last inject... its the only way I can recover.
Mt advice is to get soem clomid and run it for a while... because of your age... it will definetely have a mitigating factor in the slow recovery, and your gonna need all the help you can get.

i would stick to nolva and HCG. keep running nolva at 20 ed and run HCG at 500iu ed for 2 weeks. then have your levels checked. if they are still low, run the nolva/HCG cycle again and have them checked. if levels are still sub-par after 3 to 4 months, then HRT may be a good idea.

Doesnt HCG suppress HTPA though, wouldnt that be a bad idea since hes trying to recover?

Little older than you & same exp. w/Deca, had the same feeling after pro-longed cycle, first PCT'd with Nolva & Trib, and 2-3 weeks in still felt low low low, fortunately had clomid on hand, and within a week felt normal, still got another week and half to go, so guess wouldn't hurt to try clomid In general though your cycle wasn't long or harsh so recovery should come. Recently read an article on clomid that went into depth on it, and if I remember correctly nolva obviously inhibits the estrogen and thus the body trying to get back in balance up's test to get estro balanced, similar with a-dex, with clomid, and can't remember exactly somehow it bypassed the whole estro issue and worked in a different and more effective way. It is a sucky feeling though, so good luck

I guess I will have to go with some Clomid. Even though I have sworn it off several times. It turns me into an emotional wreck to say the least.
I want to have some bloodwork done to see where my levels are. When should I do that ? How long after Clomid ?

When i use tren or deca i need to really hit the nolv and hcg to bring myself back.....
last time i was so shut down i had to take 2500 iu of HCG every day for 9 days stright before i was able to get full hard again along with 40 mg ed before bed of nolv because that is when estrogen is at its highest.......and im only 22 years old...thats how shut down i was at your agree you are already lower then normal...so you might have to adjust your PCT that best suit you...which could be totaly different from other ppl.

stromba-I am not sure this will make your test levels higher, that will have to come back on its own or you might need HRT. BUT lowering SHBG which will increase free test which will help you feel normal even though your actual bound test is still low. also Avena Sativa has always kept me horny by the same mechanism. I have experimented both on and off cycle with it and I can actually tell when I have taken it and when i have not. It makes me horny as hell

For my PCT I use nolva and proviron. I think that with a dose of proviron in there to keep your mind at ease about the sexual function it just makes it easier to go the whole distance and not question that the other drug (or drugs if you are doing clomid as well with the nolva) is working its magic.. .I think that in many cases you just have to run it a little longer than the generally accepted time span for PCT to get yourself back up to speed
