i like to use a split like the following as i find that the workouts are shorter so you can keep the intensity very high. It also allows you to pay more attention to any particular muscle.
Day 1: Chest Day 2: Quads/Hams Day 3: Back Day 4: Bi's Day 5: Tri's Day 6: Deltoids Day 7: Calves I get great results off of 6 or 7 day splits....overtraining isn't an issue because you aren't in the gym for 2-3 hours and each muscle has plenty of time to repair before the next time it's hit really hard. IMO - it is very hard for the chemically enhanced athlete to 'overtrain' - or anyone for that matter. Overtraining is BS for the most part IMO anyway.

I would go with the "proposed cycle split" but push(chest/tris) and pull(back/bis) like intimidator said. And i dont believe in doing 2 major body parts(back/chest) back to back until the "virginity" part of the muscles is over with and the muscle maturity has some what come along. Then once this is achieved ,all splits are a go! So your split for the last 6weeks should be good.

I agree with Goliath, especially if this is your first cycle (?). You don't need 3 days off per week during cycle. My on cycle split usually is:
Chest Back Bis / Tris / Forearms Quads Shoulders Hams / Calvs / Forearms Off This works well for me but I don't keep it week specific so if I need a day off during, I use it and keep going with the order...
