Martial arts and fitness
I'm new here so be gentle please. I was wondering, as a kendoka (kendo practicioner), how often could I workout to compiment my twice weekly kendo practices without overdoing it as far as muscle/tendon/joint strain? I was taking a gym class at college earlier this year, but haven't gotten to the gym in a few weeks. Any advice or ideas?

from what I hear, most guys dont really take martial arts practice into account when deciding how many days a week to train. I would suggest that you at least try to have a rest day and I'm usually pretty sore after leg day so I wouldnt want to do any partial arts training the day after that.
