Acupuncture Opinions?
Hey everyone, I went to an acupuncture place on Friday. My question is shouldn’t they wear gloves while performing the acupuncture? When she pulled the needles out of my head, there was some blood on the cotton she used to wipe the place clean. What worries me is if she went directly to me from another patient and had blood on her hands from someone else. I am supposed to go back 8 more times but after seeing that, I am not sure what to do. She was very knowledgeable but the go gloves thing bothers me a lot.
Anyone have any opinions about this, or has been to acupuncture before. Please comment. Thanks. |

I had accupuncture done once and got no relief from it at all. I don't remember the woman using any gloves either. I would hope that they wash their hands thoroughly inbetween clients.

1. Sounds very unsanitary.
2. It's a scam...save your money and go for Active Release Therapy if you have any probs that are muscle/tendon related. |
