DVD r/w
Can some one who knows about computer tell me what is a good DVD rw machine that can be hooked up external to the computor. Looking for something under $200.

i would stick with TDK, Sony, or Lite-On brands. make sure it's a DVD±RW (+ & -) at least 4x minimum.

If you stick to the brand names its gonna be hard to find stuff in stores. Check Fry they seem to have really good prices usually. If not check something like www.tomshardwareguide.com they usually have good prices.

GearTripper....I see a lot with either + or -, but not with both. What is the diference?

The + and - dicatate the format of the DVD I believe.
