ebay
Who has delt with people on ebay? I bid and paid for a poster on ebay and have yet to be contacted by the seller. I don't know what to do. I just send the seller and email. The seller had good reviews. Is the only thing I can do report them on ebay? Will I get my money back then? Sorry to bother, help is greatly appriciated.

Ive never dealt with Ebay man for that very reason, you never know who you are buying from, I hope it all works out for you man...

Go to ebay and click on the help link!!! List your problem with the seller and you should be able to get some live feedback from ebay!!! Let them know you have paid for your item and have not received it yet!!! Also let them know you have been emailing the seller and that they have not responded!!! Another thing you need to do is go and do a review or feedback on the seller to let others know....this will hurt his business!!! If he has any integrity he will resolve the problem quick!!!

Did you ever check his feedback. Dont ever buy from someone with more than 1 or 2 negative feedback.

Give it time . I have ordered probalbly 150 items on there. Ive never been burnt.The closest I recieved alf my order of Labrada charge fro a seller called Marrs Inc. Sometimes it just takes a couple of weeks. Email them and tell the you are going to leave negative feeddback and Ill bet you get a response.

Also, at the end of the auction there is a disclaimer that says "Please allow seller 5 days (for example) to respond"

It doesn't say anything about a time limit for the person to respond, and it has been a good 12 days since the auction ended. It would be one thing if I got an email, but I'm starting to really get upset. Stupid poster, why was I ever so stupid.

Depending on how far you want to take it, if the seller cashed your check/money order, and did not ship, that is mail fraud. I got scammed back in '99 for a poster, and I guess a lot of other people did too, because I was contacted by one of the others and given a name of a Postal Inspector who was investigating the case. I never followed up on what happened though. If you used PayPal, you can contact their fraud dept., and file a report. They might not release the funds from his account. I am not sure about this, but I do know that the company does not like scammers and frauds in their system.
