my plays for today are:

Cinn/Pitt OVER 9

Harang pitched well in his last allowing only 4 hits but he also allowed 4 walks and that will kill him. He still allows one hit per inning pitched and that's bad. Vogelsong is probably not going to be around long as a starter. The Cubs just hammered him. I have this rated at 11 runs so I will bet it over.

Florida/Colorado UNDER 12 1/2

Always dangerous to bet an under at Coors but they have come in more than the over because of the high totals set. I have this at 11 runs one way and 10 1/2 runs the other. Both under 12 1/2. For you history/trend buffs the Marlins and Rocks have played 20 games in the last 3 years and all but 2 have gone under.

Montreal/SD OVER 7

The light hitting Mets got to Livan for one hit in every inning they saw him. SdD can hit well this year and should do much better than the Mets. Peavy has pitched pretty well but he walks too many. This new stadium has proven to allow some scoring. I have this at 9 runs one way and 8 another. Both over the posted 7 total. 3-3 is no worse than a push.

Atlanta/SF OVER 7 1/2

Ramirez has pitched pretty well but........................Yep! You guessed it, too many walks. Schmidt was bombed in his last. I think these two offenses can combine for a 4-4 score don't you? Be careful though. Pac Bell is a tomb at night and the ball doesn't carry very well.
