Thursday Baseball Plays
Had a great nite going 5-1 for a profit of +$405
running total of a profit of +$320 todays picks are: (limited writeup as i am nursing a cinco de mayo hangover) Anaheim RL +120 González kinda scares me and I don't know if Sele can do a repeat performance of his last start, but I like the Angels hitting and pen alot more then TB's. The fact they are at home and TB is road kill helps as well. Pittsburgh ML +200 Value play. This is just retarded odds to be giving a team that could get swept. Benson has been pitching well with the exception on 1 game and could keep Pitt in the game the whole way. Cubs RL -110 2 reasons: Clement vs Dessens' sorry ass and I'm going to assume these fucking Cubs will at least try not to get swept by a team that will probably end up 3rd or 4th worst in their division. Seattle ML -160 Freddy Garcia has been pitching great and owns Minny. Seattle is 6-0 vs Minny when Freddy is starting. Los Angeles ML +130 Total value play. Ishii has been sick the past 2 starts, allowing only 10 hits, 2 runs, and 5 WALKS in 15 IP. Granted that was vs SF and Montreal, but I think it can carry to here as well. I'm going against Willis because I don't know how he will respond after losing to ATL and gettin hammered by SF. One other thing is LA has been trading W and L for 15 games now with only 1 exception. As LA lost last night, odds are they will win tonight.
