http://wcco.com/water/watercooler_story_145163028.html WEEDSPORT, N.Y. (AP) A 22-year-old woman lost part of her arm Sunday when she reached into a cage holding two Chinese Himalayan bears. Brooke Bessette of Herman was able to free herself after being grabbed by one of the bears, but suffered severe injuries to her lower arm, Cayuga County Sheriff Robert Outhouse said. Bessette was taken to a Syracuse-area hospital and had her arm amputated below the elbow. She was listed in good condition Monday. The state Environmental Conservation Department was investigating Monday whether the owner of the bears holds the proper permits for the animals, Outhouse said. |

i guess that's what happens when you reach into a bear cage.... How can people really be that dumb. It's like when I took my g/f to the zoo this weekend, there was a sign in the alligator swamp that said "NO SWIMMING" I don't know about you, but if I can see that there are like 5-6 alligators 10 feet long swimmin in there, I ain't goin in.
