Is he pretty smart? I have to have a very smart inside dog that is easily trained, I can't deal with piss smell.

My friend got a bulldog and it is the dumbest thing I have ever seen, although my friend really didn't train it right in my opinion. His room smells like a piss factory.

My puppy hasnt pissed in the house since it was 3 month old. Your friend dosent sound like someone that that should have a dog.

it has nothing to do with how smart or dumb the dog is. it's about the amount of time you dedicate to your dog's training. you do realize that dogs don't just KNOW how to pee outside. it takes patience and consistence to teach them what is right and wrong. and NEVER use weewee pads, it'll just confuse them as to where it's okay to go.

crate train and if you're home you need to keep an eye on them and understand doggie body language (what's he look like when he's gonna piddle or poopie).
