"Playmakers"
Anyone else seen this new sports drama series starting Aug. 28 on ESPN? Looks pretty good. It shows a clip about a running back that is loosing the edge and gets ofered roids to help him get a leg up. Looks like he takes it and his on field carrer improves right away but kills it in the long run. I'm interested to see how they portray gear.

I think they will show it give a great edge but fuck you up mentaly and socialy from the looks of it. Legaly or Pro violation wise I can't tell.

If anyone is watching the first pre-season game(witch everyone should be becuase NFL rules
 ) it keeps previewing it.

i think it will be good but they wont show you the real deal it will still have a loose storyline to go by.

So did anyone watch, Both the first and second episodes are playing back to back right now. I just stated watching the first episode. It's only been on for two weeks.

Shibby....I just started watching the newer episode and I missed what Taylor took to get a boost in his performance. Did they say or was it just implied that it was some type of anabolic?

Yea I think that's stupid. They made a whole ordeal hyping the fact that he took something and it was just fucking Andro. They even made a comment about it being legal in baseball.

Honestly it's a crap show. I mean come on, the star running back doesn't show up to the game intil 10 minutes before kickoff because he's at a crack house. The star linebacker has his shrink call the coach and tell him he isn't playing because his dad was a mean highschool coach and killed his brother from running him too hard in practice. They hint at gear usage only to have it come out in the actual show as andro. Andro, come on, they had it kicking in like the guy took speed or something. Take some andro and you can bench 245 for 19 reps...again, ANDRO, come on?
The show has a good concept, they are just so far from reality it's bs. Whoever is their adviser on the show needs his ass kicked by the real players for drumming up this bullsh*t. Thumnbs down from this revierer, but I still watched the damn show.

Frigg, I agree. Great concept, but shitty show. And like you, I still watched it. I just keep watching for the linebacker to kick Harrison's (the crackhead) ass. They keep showing that in the previews but keep putting it off to a later episode. Bastards!
