Last night Stromba proposed to me!
He took me out to a beautiful place down on the beach to watch the sunset. We haven't had much alone time together lately and it was really nice for just the two of us to spend some quiet time together. On the way there, all of the songs on the radio were good ones. When we got to the resteraunt Stromba requested a table outside so we could watch the sun set. Our 20th anniversary is coming up and he was talking about how fast the years have gone by. We talked about the time he asked me to marry him, where we were, and how when he asked me I didn't even realize he was proposing marriage. Then he asked me if I'd still marry him. Jokingly I hesitated a bit, but of course I said yes. Dopey me, I didn't realize he was proposing again! Then he took my hand and got very serious and gave me a real proposal, he pulled out a diamond ring and asked me to marry him all over again, on our anniversary on Sept. 25th, in a church with just a few close friends and our family. I was so filled with emotion I could hardly speak any words other than yes and I love you.
When we got married 20 yrs. ago we went to City Hall but deep down, Stromba has always wanted a church wedding. He already spoke with the pastor and has the church reserved for our wedding. Stromba had told our daughter his secret about 10 minutes before we left the house, so the first call he made after I said yes was to her. She was so happy. I asked her if she'd be my flower girl and she said thanks for making her dream come true because she's always wanted to be a flower girl. LOL Then Stromba called his parents and I asked his dad to walk me down the isle since my dad passed away a year ago. His family is the best and I have grown to consider his parents as my own. My mom just left for a trip for a few days so I won't be able to tell her until she returns. Stromba then called his brother to ask him to be his best man. I'll talk to my best friend today to ask her to be my matron of honor. It's weird, we've been together for 20 yrs. but now we're planning a real wedding! We have so much to do to get organized in 4 weeks. The pastor wants us to write our own vows. At the resteraunt a few people came over and said congradulations. All I could do was smile between little bursts of tears. I am so in love with this man!

 Congrats Puddles...here's hoping you get another 20 yrs! BTW...thanks for reminding me...my anniversary is today so I guess I need to be a softie for a bit, maybe get the old lady a little woozy

Thanks guys! A couple of friends called me this morning and every time I tell someone my eyes well up with tears of joy. I asked my friend to be my matron of honor and she said yes. She wants to go shopping with my daughter to coordinate the colors of their dresses but she's leaving for the Keys for a week so it'll have to wait till then. I want to wear white so I told Stromba that we can't have sex until after the wedding. LOL He just told me I can't wear white. I'm gonna go beat him now.

Thanks guys. I am really not a romantic guy most of the time.
I have been guilty of shopping for anniversary gifts at the last minute and just having a "it's no big deal attitude" It was time to make up for it. Although it has been nearly 20 years, it feels like yesterday that we were married. I could think of no better way to show Puddles how much I love her. PS: I am not on clomid
