Reunited Family!
We were in the mall yesterday when I heard a voice from the past! It was my nephew, who is just a few years younger than me! He is the son of my half sister, from my dads first marraige! I turned to look to see if indeed it was him and it was! Him and my sister! I haven't seen either one in about five years! Our dad passed away in '97 and in '99 we had some different ideas about how his estate should be taken care of! Long story short, we stopped speaking to one another!
Well, I saw her but she didn't see me! I kept going because I really didn't know what to say to her after all of these years. But I did want her to see her nephew. So I turned around and went to speak to her. She saw me coming up to her with my son and she burst into tears. She said she new he was mine because he looked so much like his grandfather, our dad. We both cried for a while and apologized to one another as she held Chase! Chase loved her and was laughing and smiling the whole time she held him, and believe me that doesn't happen that often! I just wanted to share this story for any of you that might have family that you are not talking with right now! Five years slipped between us and that is five years that I will not get back! Don't let this happen to you!

Wow, that's great. I haven't talked to my aunt on my dad's side for quite some time. I guess that should be my New Year's resolution. Keep in touch with family more often.
