The game will be played in Orlando, Florida so give the home field advantage to GT right away. Plus basketball just started is anyone in Syracuse even paying attention? We all know the Cuse don’t like playing away from the dome, and have a 3-8 SU record on grass in their last 11.

Georgia Tech enters the game with the nation's best winning percentage in bowl games, among teams with at least 20 bowl appearances. Tech's record stands at 21-11 for a winning percentage of .656 in postseason play.

The Yellow Jackets have a record of 6-5 overall, 4-4 in the ACC with all five losses coming at the hands of bowl-bound teams, including three defeats by teams currently in the Top 15.

Tech and Syracuse had two common opponents this season, Virginia and Connecticut. Both teams fell to Virginia by almost identical scores. Tech lost, 30-10, while the Orange fell, 31-10. Both teams defeated the Huskies, Tech by a 30-10 score and Syracuse by a 42-30 margin.

Tailback P.J. Daniels, limited by a knee injury to seven games and 595 yards rushing this season, is expected to be back healthy for the bowl game. Daniels led the ACC with 1,447 yards rushing in 2003.

Both offenses have really had much to brag about. Syracuse ranks 73rd overall, and GT is ranked 92nd. The difference in this game is GT has one of the top defenses in the country, ranked 16th overall. While Cuse ranks near the bottom at 91st.

I think Tech plays in a much, much tougher conference plus throw in the fact that they played Georgia as well I think they beat Syracuse easily regardless of how Syracuse finished the season.
