On saturday, I grilled flank steaks wrapped around feta cheese and spinach, asparagus marinated in olive oil, lemon juice and garlic and sweet potatoes with a touch of butter and brown sugar. I love doing whole meals on the grill!

hell yeah, i tried something new last year and cooked the salmon on a piece of cedar. soak the wood first, and DON'T use anything pre-treated, but the aroma and smell it infuses is awesome.

maybe this should be in the recipe's section?

When I was younger my mom would make me do it for her no matter what the temp or how much snow was out there, crazy German woman! I remember once I burned off all my eyelashes, half of my eyebrows and singed the hair on my head.

Yeah, cedar plank salmon is great-adds to the flavor nicely. You can get different woods for different flavors-experimenting is fun! There's hickory, alder, mesquite and a bunch more that add different flavors.

Anybody tried using a Weber grill for smoking meat yet? I bought the smoking kit but haven't had a chance to try it yet.
