Need help with ADD medication

aight guys I need some help from you. I am specifically curious who has gone from ritalin to adderall to help with ADD and what their experiences were. If that does not apply if you are currently taking adderall and would care to share an honest view of how it affects you both possitively and negatively I would really appreciate it. If you use this stuff for rec purposes don't even post please, this is a matter of sanity at this point and I have a meeting with my doctor on tuesday, would like some genuine feedback from other people.

i have been on both of those medications and i really didnt like either of them the adderall worked good but i started seeing symtoms of anxiety. what really worked well for me was concerta i was at the highest dose you could take(54mgs) but it worked wonders. sides werent too bad except the unavoidable lose of appetite. ask your doctor about it, everyones different in response to these kinds of drugs, trust me, i have tryed them all.

My kids are on Adderall XR (the 12 hour version) and it works best for them from about 1 hour after taking it to about hour 10. Coming down from the effects of the med. makes them irritable, and there is definitely a loss of apetite overall. We're looking at other meds for them now.

yeah, well let me tell you, coming down from ritalin is a fucking nightmare ... I'm not sure if it's just me but the stuff affects me for maybe like 2 hours and then I have 4 hours of feeling like hell.
