All You Michigan Lifters - Quick Question

I just recently landed a pretty decent job in Lansing, MI. This means that I will be moving my ass from the state of Texas to Michigan soon. From what I have seen, the gyms consist of Golds, Powerhouse, and a few places called Fitness USA SuperCenter (Similar to 24 hr Fitness?)

I am curious to know what you Michigan bros recommend in terms of where to work out. I know that once I find a place to work out, I'll try to find a place to live close by so that when the harsh snow and cold arrives (which I will probably hate since it may affect my workouts), I'll still be able to make it to my workouts. Thanks.

While I've never been to this particular facility, I do belong to one of it's affiliates which happens to be the best club I have ever been to (as well as one of the 5 largest in the US).

It's well worth looking into.

Oh, by the way, Michigan winters aren't all that bad....

All depends on what you are looking for. Michigan is like every other state, we have many possibilities..

Your best bet is to see what Powerhouse or Gold's has to offer in terms of membership fees $$$$

You'll like Michigan, been here forever! Anyway, I live on the West Coast of Michigan and for gyns, I think I would rather be where you are at. I am assuming there will be a lot of choices and, probably some better hours seeing how there are several colleges there, one of them being MSU.
On a side note, check out (all of you MI guys) allthingsmale.com. He is a Dr. here in Michigan and has a male clinic in Lansing. He only works with MI clients (no more internet clients) and will also work with your own Dr. Anyway, he specializes in some good stuff. Take a looksie.
