I had a buddy with a vintage vette that we built a blown BB Chevy for and he had sent most of the motor parts out to get chromed. The problem was that sent the twin Holley 800 carbs out too and they dipped them whole! They wouldn't work because the chrome screwed up the internals and he had to spend a shitload for new carbs. LOL.

That's a wicked 2005 R-1. You can tell by the reverse swingarm - Yamaha went that route this year and it helps to improve stability (so they say).
Nice bike, - I prefer the Gixxer 1K or CBR 1kRR
