Memorial day.. Never forget what its all about..
With all the talk about Memorial Day Weekend and the traffic and party's I feel like the media and we as americans have forgotten what its really about.

I think that first picture is awsome. I'm sorry they had to die, but they did it with honor and for me. The respect shown to them is incrediable and deserved.

It shows the ultimate sacrifice that these troops are willing to make for their country.

Pearl Harbor survivor Houston James of Dallas is overcome with emotion as he embraces Marine Staff Sgt. Mark Graunke Jr. during the Dallas Veterans Day Commemoration at Dallas City Hall on Thursday. Graunke, who was a member of a Marine ordnance-disposal team, lost a hand, a leg and an eye while attempting to defuse a bomb in Iraq last July.
Try to look at this with a dry eye.
