Baseball - July 14th
2nd half of the season starts today
1st half results: (191-159) profit of $3,050.00 again, each bet is for a hundy. today: Under 4.5 -110 Philly 1st 5 innings Two solid SP at a bandbox with shaky pens leads me to playing teh First 5 Innings. Burnnett doesnt see a dropoff when he travels and has good numbers vs Philly recently. While Myers has been sharp except for 2 starts which happened to come at home. Under 3.5 -106 LAD 1st 5 innings Penny has been on a roll while Schidmt usually pithces well vs LA now he gets them missing some key hitters. White Sox +117 Contreras has a good track record vs Cleveland to be honest I just dont think the Tribe is all they are cracke dup to be. Under 8.5 Det -104 Tigers -209 Greinke has a good track record vs DET but not on the road. Bonderman at home should be ready for a top notch performance. NYY -103 There hot and Mussina has pitched well at Fenway while Arroyo typically struggles there. For the price you probably should play Boston here but I chose matchup over price. Plus the Boston pen is a mess. Jays -191 Over 8.5 -109 Lilly has been on a roll at home while TB has just won 7 of 29 games started by LHP. Toronto with Vernon Wells hitting up and Shea Hillenbrand can be murder on Lefties. Angels -123 Recently Minnesota hasnt hit well off LHP and Washburn is at his best on the road. LAA gets Finley back and with the unpredictable Lohse on the hill I will take the better team in a coin flip{who just lost 4 straight}. Orioles -122 Over 8.5 -112 With Sele on the hill the O's should score some runs and Cabrera despite road woes has pitched well against Seattle. Over 8 -118 Oakland PArk has pitched well last 3 but he still averages a run per inning on the road and even Harden could struggle vs that tough Texas lineup. Mets -124 NY hits LH well and Ramirez has struggled vs NY and on the road this year.
