120 degress even with zero humidity is no walk in the park. here in raleigh its about 95 with about 75-80% humidity. That still is only a real feel of about 99 degress. 120 degress is very hot no matter how you look at it. Death Valley is the hottest place in the world. not in the US but the WORLD. it is no walk in the park.

I remeber reading somewhere that you could only last about 4 hours in death valley without water.

i dont think people realize the difference between 100degrees F and 120degrees F. it is a very big difference. just think about it like this. a day that is 70 is a very comfortable day. but 90 is hot and not very comfortable. thats the kind of jump in temp that we are talking. that shit will kill you very quick.

You can also look at it like this. You can last about 7 days without water in your average 70-80 degree temps. I don't remeber if it's actually 4 hours but it was less than 10 I know for sure.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah......and blah! B, I use to do construction work outside 12 hours a day and it would be anywhere from 107-115 with 90 percent humidity or more. I'm pretty sure I could go for a walk there with the adequate water.

I don't think theres anywhere in the US that it gets to 115 w/ 90% humidity for very long! I'm guessing there's some exaggerating there!

We had those highs here in Tally about four years ago or more. Just going by what the local weather man told me back then. If there is a mistake it would be on his part.

I will say that a dry 104 isn't nearly as bad as even 85 with super-high humidity. But, as Bouncer said, there's a world of difference between 100-105 and 120.
