|
Has anyone had a.....
....hemorrhoidectomy performed on them. A friend of mine is having this procedure done and was wondering about the recovery time. He has heard that the first 2 days is nothing but rest and up to 2 weeks before he can go back to doing normal things like working out and doing anything strenuous.

my uncle had it done. he had to take it ewast for a week or 2 if i recall.

I remember a friend who had it done and I don't think recovery was long at all but he did say it was a pain in the ass.
Have him check with his doctor on the hiking, don't want to risk anything openning up while on vacation.

Cory, I was being truthful, that is what our friend said!
I don't know how long it took him to heal but he's a baby when it comes to stuff like that (surgery, not anal stuff). Following dr's orders are best, you don't want stitches there tearing open, that area can easilly get infected.
