Gettin new bathroom

Well 4.5 yrs into my new home and my tub cracked so now I have to have it all ripped out and replaced. So a few weeks ago went shopping with the gf and looked at some stuff and here's what I'm getting,

All new walls n floor with a jucuzzi tub and steam shower. opposite of the tub a small 17inch flat panel tv mounted flush into the wall tied into my bedroom so I can watch my sports center while I use the hot tub. all new fixtures pipes everything, just a new bathroom to my new house

So tomorrow they install(fri the 19th) and should be done on sat or sunday, 8k out the door for everything, this all considering they have to tear out all the walls and set the tub into the floor 6 inches and 2 inches into each wall just to make it fit I'm so looking forward to using it after long workouts.

add a microwave and small dorm sized fridge I wont ever leave

Put in a new toilet while you're at it--I think I'm replacing my toilets with the large capacity, super-strength toilets that Ronnie Coleman has in his house. I plug up the toilet with my shits at least once a day!

And yes I have more spongebob stuff than anyone else my age, my lil brother loves to spend the nite at big brothers house so for him I put all this spongebob stuff in and now its everywhere even my avatar :laughnew:

Nice! I have a jacuzzi tub and instead of a tv, I do the typical girlie thing with candles and music. We have a big hot tub on the patio but I still wind up soaking in my bath 4 or 5 nights a week. Our shower is seperate but not a steam one...if I ever need to do it over that's a serious consideration...and about a million shower jets too.

Enjoy the new bathroom, looks good! You're really gonna appreciate that tub on leg day.

Add a microwave and I will never leave, Yah i get my flatscreen and the extended mount for it so when I'm on the john I can watch and when in the tub it will pull from the wall and turn so i can watch my sports center

We jus tiled our master bath/bedroom and those are the 2 rooms we use the most when we're home. We have a small fridge in there with a coffee pot on top and the fridge is filled with bottled water, a snack or two, and stuff to make coffee. I've considered getting a microwave in there but honestly, that's just too damn lazy...if we want real food we can walk down the stairs. LOL

However, we're both not morning people and having the coffee upstairs in the bedroom is such a wonderful thing! I won't say anything about the pizza and pinwheels that were in there yesterday though. :nerdnew:

Yah its my first house so I'm doin it piece by piece hopefully to get it how i want it. Yah I used the whirlpool today and it was nice nice nice. I just worry what my gf will be doing with the jets. haha

Why do you worry what she's doing with the jets? It's not like if she gets off she won't be able to get off again in a few minutes. Actually it's the opposite for most girls, once they have one, they want more and that should work to your benefit! And after a few months ask her if she's using them for her pleasure and if she admits to it, then tell her you want to watch next time.

BTW, wanna make her happy? Go to the store and get her some nice stuff for the bath like a blow up pillow, some tea-lights (those are little candles already in plastic or metal containers that go for just 2 or 3 hrs. so no need for candle holders), some smelly stuff for the bath (salts work best in a jacuzzi, bubbles can overflow if you use more than a few drops of the stuff...and if you wind up with a bubble problem, a few drops of baby or bath oil will get rid of the bubbles), and get a portable dvd/mp3 player in there if your tv doesn't have a music channel. One night run a bath, light the candles, etc., and tell her it's for her. Let her get in and come in a few minutes later with some wine or whatever and just sit and talk for a while. Then take things from there...either leave and head for the bedroom or offer to wash her back (getting into the the tub with her at that point can be fun, or you can just really wash her back and then wait for her in bed). Girls love to be pampered and you'll earn some good points doing this (ummmm...provided she can sit still long enough to enjoy the bath).
