Last CD You Bought?

This question interests me as apparently my friends and co-workers no longer buy CDs, they simply steal them from the internet... so I was curious what and when was the last CD you purchased....

I just bought Silverstein's new CD yesterday....

You steal my sunshine single.

i was lying on the grass on sunday morning of last week
indulging in my self defeats
my mind was thugged, all laced and bugged, all twisted round and beat
uncomfortable three feet deep
now the fuzzy stare from not being there on a confusing morning week
impaired my tribal lunar-speak
and of course you can't become if you only say what you would have done
so i missed a million miles of fun

i know it's up for me
if you steal my sunshine
making sure i'm not in too deep
if you steal my sunshine
keeping versed and on my feet
if you steal my sunshine

i was frying on the bench slide in the park across the street
l-a-t-e-r that week
my sticky paws were into making straws out of big fat slurpy treats
an incredible eight foot heap
now the funny glare to pay a gleaming tear in a staring under heat
involved an under usual feat
and i'm not only among but i invite who i want to come
so i missed a million miles of fun

i know it's up for me
if you steal my sunshine
making sure i'm not in too deep
if you steal my sunshine
keeping versed and on my feet
if you steal my sunshine

i know it's done for me
if you steal my sunshine
not something hard to see
if you steal my sunshine
keeping dumb and built to beat
if you steal my sunshine

my sunshine
if you steal my sunshine

I download CDs or just songs from sources on the internet. My wife keeps me honest and only lets me use sources that you pay for the music! I don't use CDs cause I have ways of playing mp3s everywhere I would listen to music so a CD would just take up space.

I still by cd's. The last ones I bought were.....

James LaBrie- Elements of Persuassion
Dream Theater- Octavarium
Throwdown- Vendetta
A7X- City of Evil

We have a place around here that sells new and used cd's so I wait for the people to by them and not like them and sell them to this place and then I will by them for like 7 or 8 bucks and only used once or twice.

lol, I know a guy who is currently being sued by the RSA for downloading and sharing MP3's. In his words "One morning three guys in black suits knocked on my front door and handed me an manila envelop and the only thing they said is "you need to get a lawyer." Turns out he owes $1000 for every song. He has 1400.

Its currently in trial...

i honestly never buy cd's....i actually get alot of free cd's because ironically enough i used to run an online store and i also had a website where i reviewed cds' which i hope to re-open soon

i just don't think a cd is worth 15 bucks, and in some places 18, its a ripoff, and borderline monopoly, if there was no internet then we could be getting charged 30 bucks for cd's by now

the last cd i bouhgt from an actual real store and didn't get a discount from my online store would either be
korn's take a look in the mirror or superjoint rituals "a putrid dose of american hatred (i think that's title)"

the best cd that i've heard recently is REHAB "GRAFFITTI THE WORLD", amazing hiphop/rock cd...solid from start to finish i love this album

I am a member of Napster to go. $ 15.00 a month you can download as many songs you want in to your mp3 player,it's kinda leasing a car you never get the licence of the songs if you cancel your membership songs in your mp3 player are no good. My mp3 player is with me at all times i have set up in my car,my house it goes to the gym mountain biking you name it. This way I get all the new music I want and no more stacks of cds flying around my car.

~~Everybody’s going to the party have a real good time. Dancing in the desert blowing up the sunshine.~~

I got Mezmorize last month too. The whole album rocks.

Got Dave Matthews, Stand Up, and saw them in concert last month. Live he did the new songs funkier than they are on the cd.

I also picked up an Etta James mix, she's my favorite female artist.

Bought Cold Play, X&Y for my daughter and System of a Down, Toxicity.

How is the new Hootie? We saw them a few yrs. ago on the 4th of July. I miss hearing them on the radio but I just heard one of their new songs and was liking it.
