Do you carry a bag with you while working out?

I see people do it all the time. I have always wondered, what is so damn important that it has to be with you the whole time you work out?

I carry my gym stuff in a bag, but I set it down on the side till i'm done working out. I don't haul it around to each piece of equipment that I use.

I carry my work clothes. Cant leave them in the locke room because kids will root through. They bend the doors open. I would kill to catch one doing it.

That's fine. I just don't understand what the people that carry it machine to machine.

I thought thats what they had lockers for, but I guess if your a super worrier, you can carry everything with you.

I leave mine behind the counter..there really isn't a need for me to carry it around to each station. My partner does though..

Sometimes I've had my notebook PC from work with me when I worked out - too many people have had their cars broken into and had their computers stolen while they are at the gym or at the grocery store or whatever. We get keelhauled at work for losing computers because of the amount of sensitive information on them.

Well I understand there are exceptions to every situation. But there are those people that carry it with them every day.

We have lockers but hardly anyone uses them. There are also little cubby holes on the gym floor and another group by the cardio area, I use the cubby holes. There are a few people who carry a bag around but not many.

Ever notice they clutch their bags too, kinda like something important in there, and its never the big guys usually the idiots who wear all the wraps pads and straps belts when its cardio and abs day

LOL. "Cubby holes" reminds me of elementary school and crayons, cookies and stuff. I haven't heard that term in a while, lol.

To each their own I guess. We have some guys that carry bags everywhere they go. They keep their gloves, straps, belts , towel and what not in there. They don't bother me too much, but what kills me are the people who bring in the little bags to carry around their cell phones, pagers, and pda's.

I have my MP3, keys, water and my post work out shake in there also. I do leave it in an office when I get in the gym though. I dont carry it from station to station.
