Thumbs up I bought the Xbox 360
For my GF's little brother, it was his 12th B-Day today....I'm so jealous(not really)....I had a hard time getting one...Can't wait for the PS3 to come out...I think the Xbox 360 is really nice, good graphics....But I only bought him 1 game...We'll have to wait and see the other games he plays them later on this week....He needs to get the HD for it so he can play the older games he has from the previous Xbox.

Anyway, I love to see him smile and boy was he happy :nerdnew: But I would be happy too if I would of got his presents. Can't wait for his Bar Mitzvah :dancingne

The 360 is an awesome piece of hardware supported by even better software. You can use it as your complete media center and pc.

Unfortunately, it seems the 360 is getting worse reviews as time goes on. No major graphical improvements unless you have HDTV. Lack of backwards compatibility on newly released xbox games. I don't know what microsoft is doing, but it's all wrong. I'm sure they'll lose money on this system too. I wouldn't mind owning one, but i'd rather pay for the ps3 instead.

Actually it's quite nice on the graphics, but then again the spoiled ass brat does have a med size HDTV

You gotta get the new fight night though. That shit is tight on HDTV. Plus if you have surround sound, it's off the hook. I love the slow mo replays.

Yep, I have read many complaints about it. I have also read alot of stuff about the PS3 also. It is going to be delayed for alot longer then they thought. It will also cost them alot more to make then they had planned. It will cost them close to $900 to make and they plan on selling it for $400 something. The only way to make that money back is mark up the game price. The PS3 games are supposed to be like $20-$30 more then XBOX 360. The Xbox 360 is supposed to be really bad at scratching game disks also. I think they are fixing the flaw now but all the Xbox's that have been sold to date have this flaw. Microsoft rushed this to market. Halo2 on Xbox connected to an HDTV via component connection is just as good as any Xbox 360 game. All they need to do is spend more times on the games graphics, not make a new console. Its all about money.

I have had one on order for past 2 months. Still do not have it. At this point due to all the problems they are having with them I am not sure if I will get it. Maybe I will just wait for the ps3 or make up my mind at that time.

Just got one today, finally


So far he hasn't had an issue with it...We'll wait & see what happens....Now he can buy himself(or his parents) some more games, I'm done with my job for now
