this one's actually a '79, but they had the same bodystyle throughout the "Magnum PI years." The cars Selleck drove were actually a '79, a '81, then a '84

well if we are talking about our dream car, then that is a different story. the vette is a nice car as is the NSX and the 79 ferrari but they arent my dream cars.

I love the performance but I've never like the interior of a Ferarri--I've been uncomfortable and cramped in every one I've been in. I guess comforts not what Ferarri sells though.

every performance car is cramped and uncomfortable. i have driven a porsche 911 turbo, vettes, a viper, an astin martin aswell as a few others. they were all very cramped and uncomfortable. the viper was the worst, i felt like my legs were cooking from the heat comming from the engine. i have never driven a ferrari but i dont imagine its any worse then the others i have driven.

Correct me I am wrong but not only is there a long waiting list but you also have to own a few Ferrari’s before you are eligible to buy a Enzo.

thats how it was a few years ago but now what has happened is that a few of those "exclusive" ferrari owners have been able to get there hands on more then 1 of these babies. so now there is a small market for these cars. if you have the money you can get one. you just have to know the right people and be willing to pay almost double what the MSRP is. a few years ago that wasnt the case though. even money couldnt buy the damn thing.

nice car shib. i have driven alot of nice cars but none felt like they were stuck to the road like the porsche did. you really get the feeling that you are attached to the road. 100mph around a corner is nothing for that car.

yeah...those are all great dream cars, but what I like about mine is that it has kind of a meaning -- we all saw Magnum PI driving that car, and we all said "wow, that car is so cool" Now that I'm older, my disposable income is rising as the price of used ones is falling, so one day hopefully we'll meet in the middle. The one I showed is $39,500, but you can find ones in varying degrees of "used-ness" for as low as $20K

I would also love a black Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am, of course...
