I am one of those that hates the people that get them cause they think they are cool. Mine mean something. Those barbed wire ones are the worst especially if they dont get them all the way around the arm. I know how you feel Rocket with all these people getting them.

Well fine then. :p Although some tattoo artists do like if there's a meaning.
I should have explained a little more. I dont totally hate those people cause one of mine I got cause it was cool, but it's something not many people would have if any. The thing I dont like is how so many people get butterflies or pixies or stuff like that. I like when it's something original, like your stars. I bet not many people have those if any at all.

Mine don't have "meaning" in the designs but they have meaning to me (although the first two are "cyclical" in their designs giving them no beginning or end) - also, all of them have come around (mainly after) a really hard time in my life - my recent is the one I posted about a month or two ago...
"And this too shall pass" - it helps me out at some point in every single day it seems.... My next will probably be something along the lines of "as a man thinketh in his heart so is he" - or something like that
