Just heard an interview with Franco Columbo and Arnold's old girlfriend.
Franco was talking about when Arnold broke his leg guest posing. He said that Arnold pulled his leg out of the wood stage that broke, his leg was bent the other way and bleeding. Arnold grabbed his leg and bent it back the right way and continued to guest pose for like 30 min. He refused surgery and flew back to the US. When Arnold arrived in the US with his broken leg that needed emergency surgery Franco had to hit him with the news that Arnold's brother had just been killed.
There was also a segment that said that Arnold won a few of his early shows by telling the guys in the show to rub "this new creme" all over there body. Turns out it was Ben-Gay and guys that would have beat Arnold came out all red and Arnold won the show. One other part I found interesting was from his old girlfriend. She said he was by far the most focused person she has ever known. She said he could focus so much that it was scary. He could see a car accident or something and it wouldn't even phase him if he had a goal such as going to the gym in mind. Just thought I would share. Kind of gives a little more incite as to who Arnold the man was. The greatest. I have never been a person to look up to people but to say that I look up to Arnold is an understatement. Awesome! |

Damn, I couldn’t imagine trying to pose with a broken leg. That’s crazy! He is truly the greatest. It is amusing how he would mess with peoples heads back stage. Hell even on stage he would.

It's no wonder why's he's accomplished so much in his life. He's acheived pretty much every goal he said he would. Too bad other people in this world can't see what dedication will get you.
