Sams vs Costco

I've always been a member of Sam's Club but I've heard Costco was better/nicer. Anyone have an idea? Bouncer - haven't you used both?

I've used both and didn't notice a difference. It may depend on who you are a customer more than the place.

In my area, the Costco's are typically nicer than Sam's. Just newer maybe....

Apparantly that's usually the case and it's intentional. It's supposed to be more "upscale" in the bigger cities...

Used both and costco wins. Quality of items, chicken, beef, fish etc is just better at costco. Costco's brand Kirkland stuff seems better then Sam's "members mark". Selection and quility, go to costco. sounds like a commercial. lol

Agreed...Costco has better quality of meats...But Sams does have a better selection of other stuff.

My parents have a Costco membership, and we have Sams. I buy flank steak, water, Ahi tuna when we're really lucky, Tyson chicken tenderloins, and Eggbeaters. My parents have never really said anything bad about Sams, it's just more convenient for them. My mom also commented she thinks Sams meat is better than Costco.

I don't buy any off brands, or Sams house brands..

I joined Costco today. The meats look nicer/packaged nicer but they are a bit more expensive. I like the milk jugs there Plus they have gas and the Sams here doesn't.

good choice. us costco shoppers are superior to the looser sams club people.
