We had one like 8 months ago. Played it for about a week and then you realize its 1996 technology with a remote control thingy. lol. Remember duck hunt with the original nintendo? its pretty much like that. lame.

Yep, right up my alley lol.
Really though, its the console most geared toward kids, that's why I want it. My PS3 doesn't do much for them.

I have been looking for a wii for a while, started 3 weeks before Thanksgiving. I have a 6 and 11 year old and they REALLY wanted one so I ebayed it. Took 3 days, including Thanksgiving, to get to my house. Best money ever spent for Christmas!

I still don't understand the why there is such a craze for it this year. It's not like it just came out- it's been out for over a year. You know, last year, it was the Xbox 360 that everyone camped out to get online. I guess everyone is tired of the 360 they got last year, and now require the Wii.
I think the Wii is actually pretty cool. We played it over Thanksgiving. I think the interactive element of the system is exceptional. You actually have to move instead of being a couch potato

Im sure a Wii is fun but I wouldnt give my 360 Elite up any other console out there.
I finally got COD4 and its really not that bad of a game.. Has an awesome story to it.
