Damn I am in pain!
I just started to snowboard last week and this was my third time ever hitting slopes I was there last Thursday, Sunday and today( I only live about an hour away from the local ski resort) I just took my second lesson today I definitely getting better at it but maaaan I took some nasty falls on my ass and on my shoulder once. Thank god for the Motrin and Aleve.

I tried snowboarding...couldn't do it. The one board thing was too constricting and I would constantly falling on my ass and not be able to recover if I lost balance. It was bad.

I enjoy skiing much more except when I hurt myself, like today.

I love snowboarding but I haven't been in about 4 years. I haven't lived close enough, but hopefully I will in a year or two. Then I will get a season pass.

I live about 1.5 hours from the slopes and I always wanted to snow board but in my old age I dont wanna miss working out from a snowboard injury. funny I dont wake board for the same reason. it looks fun as hell but I get so pissed if I cant workout. have fun be carefull!

I had the exact same fear initially but I figured I'll take one lesson and see how it goes since I never skate board, surfed, skied or snow board, if you haven't done it before I recomend no one should try it without taking a lesson they teach all the necesarry begining stuff so you won't have any bad injuries, I've seen people trying to teach each other and man do they wipe out bad. So anywho I am doing ok so far.

haha, I hyper extended two ligaments in my knee. The doctor told me not to run and obviously not to do strenuous leg workouts. Hell he even gave me crutches. ummm npw I know what its like being completely useless.
