Kick Strength of MMA fighter.

Anyone see the show on national geographic called Fight Science where they measured the damage of different sports like a baseball in the head or a football hit etc..? It is on again this Wednesday at 9pm.

Anyway, this one MMA fighters kick strength was something like 5 x's as powerful as all of the other fighting styles. The scientists doing the test had him re due the kick because they didn't believe the results. Pretty impressive.

I forgot about it...Will watch it when they run it again...Impressive for sure...Crazy how a human being can pack so much raw power into a strike

Ya that show was good his name is bas rutten (sp?) he was a bad as striker in the ufc awhile back. bas is training kimbo slice for MMA. kimbo already TKOed my friend that was the heavy weight champ in king of the cage. I know king of the cage isnt the ufc but my friend said when kimbo hit him it was 10 Xs worse than anyone has hit him before
did you watch the special opps guys? they are nutz also. that one dude was just chillin in the water and still shot perfect. mentaly stong thoes guys are.

KOTC is a very competitive org. and its no joke. A lot of WEC/UFC fighters go back and forth and fight for both orgs. My friend is the middle weight champ of KOTC.

that one came on right before the one B is talking about. It was ok but not long enough. they tested to many other things in that show.
