Writing
Anyone on this board a writer? I wrote alot when I was younger, then stopped through my partying years. Picked it back up a year ago. Just curious if anyone else belongs to a writing group, or just writes for fun.

I have trouble sending a card - let alone writing anything else. I think it's awesome that others can write so well though.

Once I get an idea and get started writing I just get on a roll and some good shit comes out. I mean like shakespeare shit. Problem is I have absolutely no ideas whatsoever. Maybe I should write a novel on the joys of masturbation.

I like to write about stuff that I am interested in. when I was in school and they would tell us to write 5 pages on shit I had no interest in I couldn't but if I had a good topic I could research and write all day. but people that write novels (multiple ones, even) amaze me with the ideas and creativity they have.

I'm taking a creative writing class, so it now forces me to write even when i'm "not in the mood." But i force myself to write at least 15 mins a day. And the funny thing, when i don't feel like writing, that is the time when my ideas come easiest. As if Not caring at the point opens something in my mind.
