"Ax Men" March 9th on the History Channel

Ax Men - History.com

This looks pretty interesting series. The show follows a team of Oregon loggers. One guy basically talking about loosing his hand and saying "It's just a hand, you got to get back in there like a man, like a logger".

Scrumhalf will become famous soon enough
Logging traditionally competes with commercial fishing for the dubious distinction of the most dangerous occupation in America. As an Oregonian, I can say that if you walk through a PNW or NorCal forest, it is easy to see why. The trees are huge, the terrain is rugged, the population density is low, cell phone coverage is spotty/nonexistent - all recipes for even small problems to balloon into life-threatening situations.

They have a free preview of an episode on demand. at least in HD they do.

i never liked the Ice Breaker show, where the guys in Canada have to drive rigs across the frozen lakes each year. i didnt like the show about the Alaskan crab stuff either. i think i will skip this one too.
