I get the concept, but if the drug itself is moving in a stream from the surface of your skin down to your muscle, some of it has to be left in the sub q area.

yea, with a maximum of 1ml that can be injected loosing some into the skin and then that part didn't work would suck.

I got something similar to this when I went through Basic Training. They had us lined up like cattle and they hit you w/3 shots at one time...all air injected. If you moved too soon, you'd bleed from it not going in properly.
