I'm not sure, but I think this movie looks pretty good and might bring up a lot of controversy. I would be interested to hear what people in this position think of the movie.

Saw it last night. I thought it was good. I like the message they are trying to send out; that over 81,000 soldiers that honored their contract and should have gone home for good got fucked into staying in Iraq until the government feels ready to release them (or they die). It has it's typical Hollywood twist for mass entertainment value, but overall it was pretty accurate to real world scenario.
Worth seeing, imo.

yeah I don't mind political/Point of view movies as long as they aren't done by "over the top" directors. I hope a movie like this brings people to a more informed view point. Every time I see something on the military it makes me sad we are wasting lives. the physical and mental injuries (trauma) of this war are going to be felt for generations when they (if they) finally come home.
