My easter dinner...ruined
Of all the times to get a goddamned flu; chest congested as hell, every square inch of my body hurts...and worst of all...NO APPETITE. The odds of bouncing back from this by tomorrow are about a hundred to one.

So when you're all gorging on your Easter dinners....load up a plate for me. I'll likely be sipping on soup.

Sorry you are not feeling good brother, I had that exactly in janurary and it sucked.
We are going to a friends house, his girlfriend is Italian and she is cooking it's gonna be awesome!

I'd be hopeful, except for how deeply it's entrenched in my lungs. I've never had something like this kick my ass for less than a week. They need to improve the damn flu shot...this sucks.

Sorry your sick bro, that damn flu shot gave me the flu twice. Never again. If it makes you feel better, I am stuck 650miles from home so Easter dinner will be Subway.

I got a flu shot for the first time this year and its the first time I've not gotten it. It's crazy how we all react differently.

I hear ya...no more flu shots. I get the shot every year...get the flu every damn year...and if the shot is cutting time and severity off the flus like it's supposed to, it's news to me. I get every symptom imaginable to the extreme, and it completely levels me for a week...sometimes closer to two. Quite a racket they have going...sometimes I wonder if it's nothing more than sterile water they're shooting into me.

Also, that tamiflu stuff...the script drug that's supposed to help you get rid of your flu faster: complete bullshit. Tried it two years ago, was still sick for ten days.

I'm recovering from an op bro so its nibbles for me, just record everything you want on TV and have big eats next weekend and watch it back.

Flu shots are bunk, I've had them a couple times and they make me feel shit, in reality the amount of times people actually get flu is very low, people think they have flu when its only a cold so whats the point.

Update: all I was able to eat was seven perogies (4 meat, 3 cheese/potato), a tablespoon of stuffing, and a tablespoon of mashed potatoes. Sad...just sad.
