The Tractor is a Kubota B7800, It is a 30 horse 4 cylinder diesel. The base price when I bought it almost 2 years ago was $16,300 with the loader. The brush mower was $1,600. But then you start adding on all the goodies and it goes up and up. I am into it for over 30 grand now but there is a lot more to it than what you see there.
My garden is not that big really but I do have horses, This is a Brush Cutter is a Landpride and I bought it blaze trailers into the woods. It will cut sapling's up to 2" and field grass 3 feet tall. I also Have a grapple for the loader that can pick up trees to log and load into my truck. I do not have it mounted hear. The Tractor and mower alone is about $20 grand Hear it is with a Post Hole Digger ![]() Fork lift & tooth bar, In the background of this picture is the edge of 160 + acres of woods ![]() This is the grapple Last edited by Timber : 03-23-08 at 04:41 AM. |

LOL trust me it is a lot of fun, just a big boy toy but I get a lot done that would take years to do without it. I probably use it as a forklift more than anything

Yup it does 29 MPH in High range. I don't think I want to cut a field thats fast though. Might be hard staying in the seat. This model will also take a belly mower. It has a center PTO as well as the rear. I would be lost without this thing now. This is the same set up you see cutting the interstate without the loader. In fact the entire loader comes off in minutes

You might be surprised. I do love where I am today and that is my choice because life has seen fit to give me the opportunity or I manipulated it that way who knows. I have been a city dweller and enjoyed that too. I spent many years in Hollywood Ca working for Paramount. I also have a female friend that lives in those high rise condos over there in Seacaucus. Nice place over there. City dwelling has many advantages the country life doesn't have but I can say I have lived in both worlds & like them both for different reasons. In the end I love the critters and the wood. It is a lot of work but somehow seems worth it.
