I know a lot of people want to go democratic because they want some major change. That's why the house and congress have demo majority (I think that's right), but nothing has really been done. Most of it is because Bush veto's everything. Will having a demo president get things done or just be a radical change that changes nothing...?

President Bush vetoed not a single Bill for at least 5 years and I am relatively sure he hasn't exercised that power rigorously, eight times about. He vetoes domestic spending bills and bills that fund Iraq that are not 100% what he want. He is a terrible President. Having the country controlled by one party is a bad idea. Look what Bush got done because of it. At least when they are bickering and not passing bills they are doing less to hurt the general population.

I know that Congress didn't pass many bills because of Bush's veto power. I may not of heard the details perfectly, but it was something along the lines of him saying he would so don't bother writing the bill or when it was almost put together he would review and say he would veto if it was ever completed.

to make it simple, they are more talibans and al quaida than ever in Avganistan, and now there are terrorist too in Irak due to the mess created by the american, like the whole world know, there wasent any al quaida or mass destruction weapons in irak before u invaded it, if only u had stayed in Avganistan to finish the job, bilions of $ of tax payer, +4000 dead to make the world less secure for all of us, only to increase the price of oil and make the republicans richers(bush, rice, cheney, rumsfeld, all of them in the oil business)

You know it is possible to move weapons out of an area, correct? Regardless of whether or not Iraq had weapons of any sort, which they did, they never had the capability to attack America with them. Yes our country is mislead and controlled like sheep by our government and new agencies, but hearing other countries complain about the US is getting really old. It is not our militaries job to install a new type of government in a foreign nation. We are not an international peace keeping force, we are a country with a military for self defense. Its fucking sick the conditions in Iraq for our soldiers, and it ridiculous that they are still there in such mass. And Bush wants to send more? Fuck that shit. You have got to be kidding me, right? We need to get off our asses and think for ourselves. Every minute we are occupying Iraq we are waisting thousands of dollars. So, how does this President care about the citizens of this country? How does he have any respect for the soldiers of our military by keeping them in such a place?

If I were a 12 year old kid I would kick George W. Bush in the ball sack and tell him he failed at life.
