BMW M5 question
There a dude at my gym that drives a BMW Dinan M5, its sexy as HELL....

What is the difference between the Dinan M5 and regular M5???

I don't know the exacts but it looks like the Dinan is like what Shelby does to Mustangs and such. So i'm guessing it has way better performance all around than the regular M5

holy crap, i didn't know dinan was a company that modded BMW's, thats some sick shit....so basically its the same as Ligenfelter is to Corvette's, and how SVT is for Fords, Mugen is to Honda's, and Nismo is to Nissan

God damn it sooo nice.

I don't know what you are smoking, but there is no such thing as an e90 M5.

Dinan is a little more complicated than the explanation you had. My M3 has a Dinan exhaust and engine software, but that does not make it a Dinan car. For a car to be tagged as Dinan there are requirements.

Dinan BMW - Bmw.badge

There are even levels of everything for Dinan. There is stage 1-5 for engine software. Also, there is absolutely no way that anything from Dinan for the new M5 is 2k. A, e46, Dinan exhaust alone is 1700, and stage 1 software for 300. Its all very complicated, I can't call my car a Dinan because of it either...

O sorry man, i meant E60 M5...Ya there is so much stuff that you can do mod BMW's...that point system is crazy. You need 10pts to get the badge. So if the dude at my gym has that badge, that means he's got some good shit in that car

and this gave me the hp and torque number's

Good luck modding your BMW, i know that would cost me an arm and a leg.

Yep that is what I was talkin about! crazy shit right there. That make the M3 look pretty silly for a huge mark up in price.
