nerves burnt in my low back

i had the nerves burnt out in my lower back this morning in hopes that it gets rid of the pain -

was in a motorcycle accident a couple years ago and have been left with alot of pain in the area i landed on the road with -

not a pleasent procedure your awake for it and the needles they put into your back are fucking huge -

they have to go deep

getting ready to leave the house and go up the street and look at a victory hammer and a jackpot so the accident will not keep me from riding

frank have them send you to a pain specialist -- thats all the doc that did the procedure deals with is pain issues --

after 2 years of constant pain where i landed on the road to no pain in a day is pretty cool -- downside being -- nerves grow back -- so may have to get it done yearly -- worth it though

yea but one little fender bender and the person riding a bike is toast. i will take a Ferrari or a porsche over a bike anyday. you can still have fun in the car and not get killed when you run over a rock.

You know a sports car is very fun to drive. But if you have ever been on hot bike on the perfect road (the music is starting even now) man it is indescribable, There are no words. The way it feels reminds me of the feeling I got when I was snorkeling in 1100 ft of water in the atlantic and it was like flying in blue that had no end. I have hit the pavement two times at highway speeds and one in traffic I had pain for 15 yrs and when I had to use my left hand to pull my right to the handgrip I forgot the pain once I started riding. Not riding is a very hard thing for someone who has done it and felt it. IF this all sound like gibberish sorry.

Like a bat out of Hell listen to that maybe you will get it.

She just suggested that I go to a pain specialist I am glad to hear that will really help out. I thought they just gave you weekly injections to numb the pain.

A nice sport bike is under $15k - the average person can never afford a Ferrari

ok bad example. how about a 300hp twin turbo BMW 135i. sticker is around 38k. that is a little more realistic then a Ferrari. my point remains though, i would much rather have fun in a car then a bike.

i see what your saying but on the same point, nothing describes skidding along the road on your face after crashing your hayabusa at 120mph. lol. that what my buddy did. i know that you can get hurt in a car or doing anything. but with a bike your chances go WAY up.

While I have not skidded on my face at 120 mph I have skidded on the top of my head at about 45 mph and the right side of my face at over 60 mph. I still have a very clear memory of the close up details of Louisiana pavement. I understand the risks and usually the accident is caused by something other then the biker. I am not debating the issue I am just saying that there are only a few things that are a better rush then riding a bike.

yes - had to go through 2 cortizone injects before the insurance company would approve the nerve burn -- it was worth it though
