Your favorite NON-Issue of them all...(in presidential campaign)

Mine is Obama's lack of American Flag pin accessories.

You like it sarcastically or you think it's a real issue? I think Ayaan Hirsi Ali said what I think is best on Friday's episode of Real Time. She said that race and gender should be an issue to talk about but the campaign should not be ran on it. If either Clinton or Obama fail then they fail for their gender or race. Basically what was said, is that if either of them fail people will say we had a women or black man and obviously a woman or black man can't do the job.

That's the thing, he is in a wash of the 40 white men before him that created this country. By no means does that make him exempt, it's just people look at him as Bush and not as the white man that couldn't get the job done.

A non-issue is something that people make a big deal of that actually means nothing. I don't believe race or gender are a non-issue at all. They are important factors in the campaign because of the dynamic of this country. Obama was correct when he described Pennsylvania. There are many people here who cling to rights that were extremely important at the birth of this nation. It has everything to do with the fact that this nation has yet to get over its past. We aren't nealy as progressive as we think we are.

If you want my vote you should bring up an amendment to the Constitution guaranteeing everyone the right to, at a minimum, a college education or equivalent in a trade.

The fact that guns are a right, but education isn't escapes me.
